Within three weeks of its theatrical release, the film became available on Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV, but only for international audiences in the US and UK.
Viewers in these regions can stream the movie for $24.99 (Rs 2,092). The Indian audience will have to wait until September for the OTT release.
Hollywood Remake by Chad Stahelski
Adding to the film’s accolades, renowned Hollywood director Chad Stahelski, famous for the “John Wick” series, has acquired the rights to remake “Kill” in Hollywood.
Stahelski, who has directed all four “John Wick” films starring Keanu Reeves, was impressed after watching a preview of “Kill”. He praised the film as one of the most brilliant, wild, and creative action films he has seen in recent times.
Stahelski expressed excitement about developing an English-language version of the film, highlighting the exceptional fight scenes crafted by Nikhil.
Confirmation from Lionsgate
The Hollywood remake has been officially confirmed by Adam Fogelson, Chairman of Lionsgate Motion Pictures Studio Group.
“Kill” is produced by Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta’s Dharma Productions, along with Guneet Monga and Achin Jain’s Sikhya Entertainment.
This collaboration sets high expectations for the Hollywood adaptation, promising a thrilling experience for global audiences.
