In this sequel, Arulnithi reprises his role as Srinivasan, joined by a new cast. The film’s release coincided with other major Tamil films like Vikram’s “Thangalaan” and “Raghu Thatha,” contributing to its growing buzz and positive reception.
Although originally set to be directed by Venky Venugopal, R. Ajay Gnanamuthu, known for “Cobra,” took over the direction, with Venugopal contributing to the story. The movie, initially scheduled for a September 2023 release, was postponed due to various reasons.
