Rashmi Desai is an Indian television actress who is best known for her portrayal of Tapasya Raghuvendra Pratap Rathore in the popular TV show, Uttaran. She has also starred in some other shows such as Diya Aur Baati Hum, Siddhivinayak, May I Come in Madam?, and Adhuri Kahani Hamari.
Rashmi Desai was born on 13th February 1986 in Assam, India. She did her schooling from Ulubari High School. Rashami is also a trained Kathak and Bharatnatyam dancer. She studied at the North Eastern Hill University in Shillong and completed her B.Sc. in Mathematics.
After completing her education, she moved to Mumbai to pursue her dreams of becoming an actress. Rashmi Desai made her debut on the small screen in 2009 with the TV show, Uttaran. She rose to fame for her performance in the show and won many awards for it. Some of her other popular shows include Diya Aur Baati Hum, Siddhivinayak, May I Come in Madam?, and Adhuri Kahani Hamari.
