Global icon Priyanka Chopra is an internet sensation. With over 22 million followers on Instagram, Priyanka is highly active on social media and loves interacting with her fans. Recently she visited Jorhat, Assam for some Ad film shoot of Awesome Assam Campaign.

She landed in Jorhat this evening and then got felicitated by the school students of Subarna Prabha Bordoloi Girls School, Dhekiajuli. She posted the entire journey on her Instagram story.

The part I enjoy the most… joining in the fun! These young ladies put on an amazing performance for me and it was great to see their confidence and excitement towards life.. This is in large because they are in a school environment that keeps them safe. They are in charge of building their own futures.. their own lives. Keeping a girl in school has so many positives, especially seeing them happy and thriving. A great start to my trip to #AwesomeAssam
