The Narnia series is a set of Hollywood films based on the Chronicles of Narnia, a series of seven fantasy novels by C. S. Lewis. The films are produced by Walden Media and distributed by Walt Disney Pictures.
The first film, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe were released in 2005. The second film, Prince Caspian, was released in 2008. The third and final installment of the original Narnia series, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, was released in December 2010.
A fourth Narnia movie was confirmed to be in development by Douglas Gresham, stepson of C. S. Lewis, in October 2016. The Silver Chair is expected to be the first Narnia film not directed by Andrew Adamson and will adapt the third book of the Narnia series.
No release date has been announced for The Silver Chair. However, it is expected to be released sometime in 2022 or 2023. Stay tuned for updates!

The first Narnia movie is The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. It was released in 2005 and is based on the first book of the Narnia series. The movie follows four children who are sent to the Narnia by a wardrobe. They discover that Narnia is ruled by the White Witch. The children must help Aslan, the rightful king of Narnia, overthrow the White Witch and restore Narnia to its former glory.

Where Was Narnia Filmed?
Narnia was filmed in various locations in Europe.
The first Narnia movie, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe was filmed in various locations in Europe. These included Poland, Hungary and the Czech Republic.
The second Narnia movie, Prince Caspian was filmed on location in New Zealand. This marked a change from the first movie as it was felt that Narnia should be filmed in a country with a more diverse range of landscapes.
